Entry #2 HAIRCUT GONE WRONG

Having long hair in general is just so stressful! There is just so much of it and it takes soooo much time to do it if you want it to look nice. Imagine having to deal with long hair during the summer, you're already getting so sweaty and on top of that you have long hair which does not help... especially if you live in a state(Arizona) where the weather reaches higher than 100 degrees. 

I decided last summer I did not want to have to deal with my long hair and that it was time for a change. I have always considered cutting my hair but I never actually thought that I would really cut it. So one day I got off work early and I thought to myself, "this is the perfect time to go and cut my hair!". Since I was always so busy with work I never really had the time and I would always get off work really late. Anyways here I am anxious looking up hair salons that are open near me. I'm on yelp looking at the reviews and I finally found the one. It was Great Clips, they had really good reviews and affordable price for a haircut!

So I wasn't really going for a dramatic change, I just wanted something cute and simple but still with a little bit of length. Like the picture listed to the left. Now let me tell you... it was not "gonna be great". I sat in the chair and showed the lady who was cutting my hair that I wanted this length, she then just nodded her head.


I was just sitting in the chair so happy to finally trying something new with my hair. The lady cutting my hair was sure taking a long time but I didn't think much of it since I did have a lot of hair and it was very long. As soon as she turns my chair towards the mirror, she asks with so much excitement  "Well! Do you like it???" She's here looking at me like this waiting for my reaction...



My jaw drops.. I am in shock and I just nod my head yes. I just wanted to get out of there, so I pay and leave as fast as possible. On my way home I have no emotions... I just wished that this was a really bad dream. I get home and my sister is the only one home and I walk in like the picture listed to the right. My sister bursts out laughing while I burst out in tears. It was so horrible! Why did I even consider cutting my hair in the first place?? I mean who cares about having to deal with long hair in the summer anymore!

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this very embarrassing story of my horrible hair cut and hope that you know you are not alone if you have also gone through a horrible haircut before, trust me it only gets better from here!
